For years, Cletus kept a collection of songs that never quite fit the bands he was playing in. Those songs found a home with The Road Rage. Six musicians brought their own feel to the material, shaping it into a live set of guitar-driven Southern rock and country with three singers taking turns at the mic.
“Almost Home,” featuring Marja on lead vocals, was the first single the band recorded together. Onstage, that same lineup can go from a country ballad to a full-throttle trucker anthem. From their debut at the Country Roots Music Festival in Nieuwegein to the main stage at Country Messe Erfurt, the songs have found their place in front of a crowd. In Erfurt, the line dancers were still on the floor when the band played its outro.
